Christmas Celebration

Kids and teachers worked long hours to prep for our celebration today. It's wonderful to be able to celebrate the Holiday with Jesus as the focus of the celebration. We are extremely blessed to be able to express our faith in all aspects of our school community.

LOVE IT!

We make a concerted effort to use manipulatives whenever possible during instructional time. We introduce them at the beginning of the lesson and then encourage students to use them during their  seat work. IMAGINE my surprise when students started grabbing manipulatives, without prompting, while writing their math test. They actually transferred their learning from one task to another--very exciting!
